Don't believe him?  Watch Penn & Teller's Bullshit! Episode on Recycling available here.  Note to mom and dad: Rough language ahead!

Quote of the Day

Tim Gunn on Fashion:
"Some people think of dressing up or being polite as a burden. They think having to wear a tie or use the right fork or send a thank you card is a kind of shackle. To these people I say: Getting out of bed is a shackle. If you feel that way, stay in it! Invest in a hospital gurney and wheel yourself around on it when you need to go out."
Preach it, brother!

Quote of the Day

I love this image and feel that it should be made into a postcard and sent to every elected official in Washington.  I also like it because I can endlessly regurgitate this quote to my future children whenever they ask me to buy them anything.  Unless the request is for food, in which case I'll probably make an exception.  I'm a such a softy!

New Favorite Quote

“You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.”       -Winston Churchill

I think Winston Churchill and I would have been very good friends if given the opportunity. Though I'm not sure he would have been able to handle the shame of being constantly overshadowed by all of my well-deserved fame and success.

Quotable Quotes

"Either write something worth reading,
or do something worth writing."
- Benjamin Franklin

I think we'd all agree that I should focus my efforts on the latter. One might go so far as to say that it's my only viable option.
