A Whole New World, Indeed

I am all for childhood fantasies and dreams, but there's something to be said for instilling a small sense of reality in today's youngsters.

Apparently, photographer Dina Goldstein agrees:

Prince Charming? More like Prince Alarming... ly lame.

Hey, it ain't called Former Beauty and The Beast...

Don't blame Jasmine. After all, listening to the incessant
talking of a parrot with the voice of Gilbert Gottfried
would cause any sane person to bear arms and
set out on a murderous rampage.

These photos are pure genius and I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry at the brutally honest portrayal of life in the here and now. I went with laugh. I am wearing mascara, after all.

Editors Note: If this morning's post seems especially angsty (as Brain would say), then you, my friend, are perceptive. I just spent the entire night placating not one but two certifiably insane individuals and can now say, with confidence, that repeating the same directions and explanations throughout one's shift is not unlike reading aloud a single passage from a Dr. Seuss book for 12 straight hours. That being said, is it wrong to consume a stiff cocktail at 8:30 on a Sunday morning?
